About the Show

A Chorus Line is a 1975 musical with music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban, and a book by James Kirkwood Jr. and Nicholas Dante.

A Chorus Line stunningly captures a glimpse into the lives of performers auditioning for a Broadway musical. This brilliantly complex fusion of dance, song, and authentic drama tells of the bittersweet ambitions of professional, itinerant performers trying to land a job in the show, and it is a powerful metaphor for all human aspiration.

A Chorus Line is presented by the Musical Theater Department from the Academy for the Performing Arts, in conjunction with the Rose Center Theater, through special arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
