Auditions for The Wonderful Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

The Rose Center Theater is casting youth performers local to the Orange County area, ages 6-16, who can sing, act, and dance, in the new musical, The Wonderful Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. This new musical is an exciting adaptation of the popular children’s book Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne, and includes all of the characters everyone has come to love and enjoy.

This upcoming and sensational Rose Kids Production is set to dazzle audiences with its impressive sets, captivating costumes, and enchanting musical numbers. With a multitude of exciting roles and delightful ensemble opportunities this production promises a whole lot of fun for all those involved. The Rose Kids is an intensive 4-week program that kicks off with rehearsals commencing at the Rose Center Theater on October 20th. These rehearsals will take place on weeknights and a few select weekends over a span of 3 weeks. The grand culmination of the performers' hard work will be showcased over two weekends of spectacular performances, taking place from November 10th to 19th. Performances will occur on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00pm, as well as Sundays at 2:00pm.

Should you be selected to be part of this incredible production, there is a $100 production fee that will be due at the first rehearsal. For your convenience, we also offer flexible payment plans to accommodate individual needs.

Sunday October 15 at 7:00 PM and Monday October 16 at 7:00 PM

IMPORTANT DATES:

First Rehearsal: Friday October 20th at 7:00 PM

Tech: November 5 - 9, 2023

Opening Night Performance: Friday November 10 at 7:30 PM

Closing Performance: Sunday November 19 at 2:00 PM

Evening Performances at 7:30 PM: November 10, 11, 17, and 18

Matinee Performances at 2:00 PM: November 12 and 19

WHAT TO PREPARE & BRING:

Please prepare & bring sheet music for 16-32 bars (no more than 1 min.) of a musical theater song. An accompanist and score will be provided. Singing to a pre-recorded track is acceptable. Please have your music cued up and ready to plug in.

Please bring a HEADSHOT and RESUME. All performers auditioning will be asked to take part in a dance/movement evaluation. Please dress and/or bring appropriate clothes and shoes accordingly.

Parents/guardians will not be permitted inside the audition room, but must remain on the premises throughout the duration of the audition.

COST:

If cast, a $100 production fee will be due at the first rehearsal. Payment plans available.
