Bright Blue Sky: the 9/11 Musical transports you to the 104th floor of the World Trade Center's North Tower on the morning of September 11, 2001. Witness their courage, vulnerability, and the enduring power of the human spirit as they confront the unthinkable. This September, on the 25th anniversary of that day, Rose Center Theater brings this original production, first workshopped at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, to the stage for five performances only.
Bright Blue Sky is about a group of everyday people working in the World Trade Center on the morning of September 11, 2001. During these desperate hours, not knowing whether the day will end as it began, the characters come together through their differences to find their shared humanity. In a series of charming, endearing, and deeply heartfelt vignettes, each character relives moments from their past, revealing an uplifting story of hope amid tragedy and loss within love.
It's a tribute to the people behind them.
Five performances only: Friday, September 11 (opening night), Saturday, September 12, Sunday, September 13, Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, 2026. Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM.
Run Time: approx. 90 minutes, no intermission

Ticket Policies
All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued. Exchanges may be accommodated for another performance of the same production, subject to availability. All exchange requests must be made at least 72 hours before the original performance. Approved exchanges are subject to a processing fee. By purchasing tickets, you agree to these terms.
Facility & Production Guidelines
Tickets are delivered electronically. Please print or present your e-ticket at the door. Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult age 25+. All patrons, regardless of age, must present a valid ticket for entry. Tickets may be purchased at the door using a QR code with an internet-connected personal device.
