This December, the Rose Center Theater invites guests to step back in time to Old England for an unforgettable evening of dining, entertainment, and community spirit. On Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the theater will host The Feast of Stephen Gala & Fundraiser, a one-night-only celebration inspired by its original holiday musical, Robin Hood and the White Arrow: the Holiday Feast of Stephen.

A Magical Evening in Sherwood Forest

Guests will be welcomed through the Rose Center’s patio gates into a candlelit Sherwood Forest adorned with winter greenery and holiday music. The evening begins at 6:00 PM with a buffet-style dinner served in the Grand Ballroom, featuring a traditional holiday feast of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, vegetables, warm rolls, and an array of festive desserts. Each guest will enjoy a complimentary glass of Prosecco or Martinelli’s, with water and a full cash bar available throughout the night.

The experience continues as attendees make their way into the theater for a 7:30 PM performance of Robin Hood and the White Arrow: the Holiday Feast of Stephen—an original musical adventure filled with romance, laughter, and live music. Directed by Tim Nelson, the show transforms the legend of Robin Hood into a joyful celebration of courage, compassion, and holiday magic.

A Celebration with Purpose

The Feast Day Gala is more than a night of festivity—it’s an evening that gives back. Proceeds directly benefit the Rose Center Theater’s mission to make high-quality performing arts accessible and affordable for the Orange County community. Gala attendees will have the opportunity to bid on holiday baskets, make donations, and connect with fellow patrons who share a passion for live theater and the arts.

“The Feast Day Gala perfectly captures what this season and this production are all about—giving, gathering, and celebrating the joy of storytelling,” says Tim Nelson, the Rose Center Theater’s Managing Artistic Director. “It’s a chance to experience the magic of live theater and help ensure that future generations can do the same.”
