Our Cast Is Announced - Annie Comes Alive This September

Today the Rose Center Theater proudly announces the cast of performers who will bring this timeless Broadway favorite to life in a production filled with heart, humor, and hope.

Two Brilliant Young Annies

At the heart of the story is Annie herself, portrayed in alternating performances by Ava Madison Gray and Everly Marie Guerra. Both young performers step into the spotlight with remarkable résumés. And both are making their Rose Center Theater debut in the role they’ve dreamed of playing.

For Everly Marie Guerra, Annie is both familiar and fresh. She’s played the role before in Annie Jr., alongside other favorite performances such as Jojo in Seussical, Matilda in Matilda Jr., and Flounder in The Little Mermaid Jr.. Trained at Broadway Arts Studio, Everly is a member of both the Musical Theater Conservatory and the Broadway Dance Company. With her boundless energy, love of Disney, and even a soft spot for french fries and I Love Lucy, she brings Annie’s sense of wonder and resilience to life with warmth and authenticity.

Ava Madison Gray also brings an impressive range of experience to her dream role. A student in the Film & Television Conservatory at OCSA, Ava’s stage credits include Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden at the Ahmanson Theatre under Broadway director Warren Carlyle, Anne Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank at La Mirada Theatre, and Matilda Wormwood in Matilda the Musical at No Square Theatre. She also voiced JJ in CoComelon, appearing in CoComelon Live: JJ’s Journey, Nintendo Switch games, and Cameo Kids. When she’s not singing the National Anthem at Angels Baseball games, Ava is building a reputation as one of Orange County’s most versatile young talents.

Together, Ava and Everly embody Annie’s mix of grit and optimism, offering audiences two distinct yet equally inspiring portrayals of Broadway’s favorite orphan.

Leads Who Bring the Story to Life

Opposite Annie, the formidable yet warmhearted Daddy Warbucks will be played by Chris Caputo, while the poised and devoted Grace Farrell will be portrayed by Kristin Caputo. The hilariously wicked orphanage matron Miss Hannigan comes to life in the hands of Karen Rymar, with Vincent Aniceto as her scheming brother Rooster Hannigan and Colette Peters as his equally sly partner-in-crime, Lily St. Regis. Together, these larger-than-life characters promise to deliver both comedic mischief and heartfelt transformation.

Annie's Found Family

Annie’s found family is full of spirit. Naomi June and Roxanna Ordonez share the role of Molly. Echo Lund and Ronnie Ray bring grit and charm to Pepper. Ava Cerami and Natalie Sand alternate as Duffy. Jax Lommerin and Seraphine Tran share July. Leyla Trinh and Sierra Kim-Staniec appear as Kate, while Ella Cabrera and Emilie Ong complete the group as Tessie. The Orphan Ensemble features Abigail Barnaby, Emalia Webb, Harper Balfany, Leilani Joy Tom, Molly Bobar, Olivia Yarnton, and Ruby Mae Lopez. Their mischief, courage, and friendship give the show its heartbeat.

The World Around Them

Inside the Warbucks household, Hannah Sheehy appears as Annette, Hannah Fan as Cecille, Erik Duane as Drake, Erica Duane as Mrs. Greer, and Teresa Orr as Mrs. Pugh. The maid ensemble includes Brooklyn Loken, Cristina McAllister, Ella Cerami, Emalia Webb, Evelyn Du, Hailey Ribar, Katie Peters, Narumi Yuzawa, and Riley Moser.

On the airwaves and in government halls, Gideon Feinstein doubles as Bert Healy, Lt. Ward, and Howe. David Hubbard appears as Dog Catcher and FDR Aide, while Edward Bangasser portrays President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Cabinet members include Nathan Willingham as Ickes, Nathan Andreas as Morganthau, Chase Adrain as Mr. Bundles and Hull, and Erin Lord Nelsen as Sophie and Perkins.

Adding even more color, Cat Sacksteder appears as the Star-To-Be, and Luke Martucci as Assistant Dog Catcher/Fred McCracken. The rest of the chorus includes Allison Hope Plumb, Allison Silva, Ethan Ng, Punawai Teitz, and Sandra Aniceto, and Stephanie Rebecca Graney.

Why This Annie Matters Now

Annie remains a touchstone for families and theater lovers because it pairs laughter with resilience. The songs invite audiences to hum along. The story invites audiences to believe. When a child steps into a spotlight and sings that the sun will come out tomorrow, the room becomes a community. That is the power of live theater, and that is the promise of this cast.

Don’t Miss the Magic

Annie runs September 13–28, 2025 at the Rose Center Theater in Westminster, California. With two brilliant young Annies leading a stellar company of local talent, this production is sure to capture hearts and inspire hope.
