A Timeless Musical About Family, Tradition, and Change

This February, the Rose Center Theater is proud to present Fiddler on the Roof, one of the most beloved and enduring musicals in theater history. Performances run February 20 through March 8, 2026, bringing this powerful and deeply human story to audiences in Westminster and across Orange County.

Set in the small Jewish village of Anatevka at the turn of the 20th century, Fiddler on the Roof follows Tevye, a devoted husband and father striving to hold onto tradition as his daughters begin to make choices that challenge long-held customs. As the world around him changes, Tevye must confront what it truly means to honor the past while embracing the future.

Rich with humor, heart, and emotional depth, Fiddler on the Roof explores universal themes of family, faith, love, and resilience. Its story continues to resonate across generations, making it as meaningful today as when it first premiered.

The musical features an iconic score by Jerry Bock with lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and a book by Joseph Stein. Audiences will recognize timeless songs such as “Tradition,” “If I Were a Rich Man,” “Matchmaker,” and “Sunrise, Sunset,” each contributing to a theatrical experience that is both joyful and deeply moving.

This production reflects the Rose Center Theater’s ongoing commitment to producing high-quality, affordable live theater that brings people together through shared stories and live performance. Featuring a talented cast and creative team, Fiddler on the Roof continues the theater’s tradition of presenting classic works with care, heart, and community at the center.
