One Last Chance to See Annie
The sun may be setting on Annie at the Rose Center Theater, but not before one final weekend of performances, September 26–28. After opening to sold-out crowds and standing ovations earlier this month, Broadway’s beloved musical is heading into its final curtain calls in Westminster, California.
Now’s your chance to experience the joy, laughter, and timeless hope of Annie. To celebrate the production’s success, the Rose Center Theater has released the official promo video, a vibrant sneak peek at the cast, choreography, and heart that have made this show a highlight of the 2025 season.

Why Annie Still Resonates
First staged on Broadway in the late 1970s, Annie has become one of the most enduring family musicals in the canon, thanks to unforgettable songs like It’s the Hard Knock Life, Maybe, and Tomorrow. Nearly fifty years later, the story of a plucky orphan who refuses to give up hope continues to strike a chord with audiences of all ages.
As Angela Hatcher of the Westminster Herald Journal wrote in her glowing review,
“Maybe it’s time for an incredibly delightful ‘feel good’ musical that reminds us once again to have hope and optimism in a world filled with turmoil and uncertainty. The Rose Theater may have just the remedy.”
Meet the Cast
Alternating in the title role are two extraordinary young actresses, Ava Madison Gray and Everly Marie Guerra, each bringing their own spirit, voice, and spark to Broadway’s most beloved orphan. Both have earned thunderous applause for their heartfelt renditions of Tomorrow, leaving audiences humming long after the curtain falls.
They are joined by an exceptional company:
Chris Caputo as the commanding yet tender Daddy Warbucks
Kristin Caputo as the graceful Grace Farrell
Karen Rymar as the hilariously wicked Miss Hannigan
Vincent Aniceto as the magnetic Rooster Hannigan
Colette Peters as the sly Lily St. Regis
And yes — Sandy the dog has stolen plenty of hearts, too.
Behind the Curtain
The production is directed and musically led by Tim Nelson, with lively choreography by Diane Makas and Jennifer Matthews. Colorful projections, period-perfect props, and a full ensemble of nearly 50 performers make the world of 1930s New York leap off the stage.
Don’t Miss the Final Bow
If you haven’t seen Annie yet- or if you want to experience it again- this weekend is your last chance. With tickets already moving quickly, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday’s final shows are expected to sell out.
