The Rose Center Theater, one of Orange County’s most beloved community-based performing arts venues, has officially announced a virtual casting call for its Fall 2025 production of Annie, the timeless Broadway musical that has captured hearts for nearly half a century.


With rehearsals beginning in August and performances running from September 12–28, this fully staged production promises to bring new life and heart to one of musical theater’s most iconic stories.

Who Should Audition?

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a young talent ready to take your first steps onto the stage, Annie offers a wealth of opportunities for performers of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities.

The Rose Center Theater is casting:

  • Youth Performers (ages 5–15) to play the spirited orphans at the center of Annie’s journey

  • Adult Performers (ages 16+) for principal and ensemble roles including Oliver Warbucks, Miss Hannigan, Grace Farrell, Rooster, Lily, and others


How to Audition

All auditions will be held virtually for the initial round. Performers are invited to submit a self-tape video showcasing:

  1. A short song in the style of the show

  2. A completed audition form (available at the link below)
