The Rose Center Theater is casting youth performers local to the Orange County area, ages 6-16, who can sing, act, and dance, in the new musical, The Wonderful Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. This new musical, with music and lyrics by Tim Nelson, is an exciting, fun-filled original adaptation of the popular children’s book Winnie The Pooh, by A.A. Milne, and includes all the wonderful characters everyone loves, like Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Christopher Robin and more!
Told through song and dance, and appropriate for audiences of all ages, this sensational Rose Kids Production is set to dazzle audiences with its impressive sets, captivating costumes, and enchanting musical numbers. With a multitude of exciting roles and delightful ensemble opportunities this production promises a whole lot of fun for everyone involved. The Rose Kids is an intensive 4-week program that kicks off with rehearsals commencing at the Rose Center Theater on October 20th. These rehearsals will take place on weeknights and a few select weekends over a span of 3 weeks. The grand culmination of the performers' hard work will be showcased over two weekends of spectacular performances, taking place from November 10th to 19th. Performances will occur on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00pm, as well as Sundays at 2:00pm.
Should you be selected to be part of this incredible production, there is a $100 production fee that will be due at the first rehearsal. For your convenience, we also offer flexible payment plans to accommodate individual needs.

WHAT TO PREPARE & BRING:
Please prepare & bring sheet music for 16-32 bars (no more than 1 min.) of a musical theater song. An accompanist and score will be provided. Singing to a pre-recorded track is acceptable. Please have your music cued up and ready to plug in.
Please bring a HEADSHOT and RESUME. All performers auditioning will be asked to take part in a dance/movement evaluation. Please dress and/or bring appropriate clothes and shoes accordingly.
Parents/guardians will not be permitted inside the audition room, but must remain on the premises throughout the duration of the audition.
